So far, this season is going better than last, but Schell still is not making the impact I'd envisioned for him. We've got a three year plan in place to help to get him back up towards the top of the league again, but a part of the sacrifice of being on an incredible team is sacrificing some of your numbers to your teammates. With rising star Bam Bam McMullet and established beast Derred de Ville it's going to be tough for Schell to lead the league in tackles. However, his 5 PDs are two shy of the best number among LBs and that is a number to be proud of through the first half of the year. Schell's biggest goal for improvement is his hard hitting. With no sacks or forced fumbles through seven games, that is an area that Schell has trained harder on without seeing the results so far. The goal is that with more reps and more hard workouts, we see those numbers starting to rise in the second half of the season. There's lots of room for growth, but Schell has quietly put together a solid season for the Berlin defense so far. But if you're playing Berlin in the coming weeks, you'd better make a game plan for him, because he's certainly not satisfied just yet.
