So far this season, Holliday has played as well as you would hope a rookie would play. He has been solid in tackles and strong in passes defended. He has also forced a few fumbles, even recovering one of those himself. This being said, he definitely needs to get himself an interception soon. It would be his career first, and it would give him the confidence he needs to continue snagging more INTs as the season progresses. It's all about getting that first interception to really get the ball rolling. To take it one step further, I'd like to set a goal of getting one pick-six by the end of the season. Now, that may just come down to circumstance, but it's definitely within the realm of Holliday's capabilities. Hopefully this young cornerback can get the monkey off of his back and grab his first career INT this coming week. He's coming into this week a bit more agile and a lot faster, as he has been training his overall quickness. I know the kid is eager to make a name for himself, and perhaps these improvements will help him get to the ball just a bit faster than the receivers he will be going up against. Go Luchadores!
