Honestly, I'd have been kinda stupid to go into the season with crazy high expectations or anything like that, just because I'm a rookie and probably the lowest ranked linebacker in the pecking order for the Outlaws. But even with that in mind, things haven't gone too bad and I can't really be too disappointed in the way that things have come together for Marcus so far. He's been a useful contributor on a team that's won all of the games its played so far this season, and has definitely pitched in with 3 sacks in the 8 games that he's played in so far in his career. It's definitely something that will have helped the team out, and I think Marcus has done a pretty good job so far in terms of establishing himself as the type of player who can really bring something to his team and make a contribution at this high level. The main thing that stands out as needing improvement is the tackles he's put in; 25 in 8 games isn't really the pace I was hoping for, so it would be good to see Marcus pick that up by the end of the year and end the season on a high note.
