To be completely honest, Videl is playing at a peak ability level, despite having a slight stat regression beginning in the season. If there were a few areas that Videl may need to improve on, the first of which is YPC, or yards per catch, where she is second in the category, because she is naturally a deep threat option, her yards per catch is quite high. This leads us to the next thing we notice on what might hold Videl back from a possible wide receiver of the year award, and that is catches, it’s been known that she openly clashes with Austin quarterback, Jackie Daytona, over play calls and even some formations, and also frequent brawls in the locker room. Unfortunately, due to this beef between the two, it negatively affects Videl’s yards per catch, and the amount of catches that she receives on average during a game. Another issue that Videl frequently faces and needs to improve on, is her yardage, as currently, she’s in a tight race for wide receiver of the year, as there’s no set front runner, and it’ll likely change throughout the season, so Videl will likely have to keep high yardage against weaker teams, and hold her own against stronger teams in order to win the award.
