The number one thing I would like to see from my player is to pick up more receiving yards for the season. I am currently on pace for just over 1000 yards which would only be the second time I hit that in my career. In order to hit this milestone, my player really needs to work on the yards he picks up after the catch. As a slot receiver, my player tends to catch many short passes so his yards per catch tend to be low. If I can start turning some of these six yard catches into ten yard catches, I think I have not just a shot at breaking 1000, but setting a new career high in receiving yards. In addition to wanting these yards for my own personal satisfaction, I think adding extra yards to each of my catches can only help my team pick up a few wins down the stretch. Those extra yards will help convert a few more first downs, keeping drives alive and keeping us in the game. While our season may already be over based on record, San Jose is a proud organization that wants to go down fighting and pick up any scalps we can along the way. The locker room is still together and we all want to win games.
