Vincent Jones Jr isn't having the best personal statistical season in S60. He is on pace to finish the regular season with less tackles, tackles for loss, forced fumbles, sacks, interceptions and passes deflected. This isn't bothering Vincent at all, the team is playing solid football this season, his teammates are shining and Vincent is their #1 cheerleader. He wants team success more than personal accolades. So if he could pick one area to improve on coming to the tail end of the season, it would be stacking some more Ws in the New Orleans Second Line win column. But if I had to pick one area for Jones game to improve on, it would be in his pass defense. Last season, Vincent Jones Jr recorded 3 interceptions and 11 passes deflected. This season, at the 10 game mark of S60, Jones has yet to make an interception and has only broken up 4 passing plays. Now, it isn't out of the question for Jones to get back to these kind of numbers with New Orleans final 6 games in the season. With a pick ever other game and getting his hands in the way of the opposing quarterbacks throws every game, he could match last seasons numbers. But more importantly, he would be helping his team win games with a few more big plays from him. Watch out for Jones and his Second Line teammates in this final stretch, they are hungry to win some games and hopefully make some noise come playoff time.
