So one area of the new sim I haven't paid as much attention to as I could is definitely defensive line stats. Thats funny to write because the Silverbacks consistently have had one of the best defensive lines in the league since we swapped to the new sim - so much so that we've been able to secure some great players (KKM/gucci for example) in trades because we can promise them consistent stats. I've typically just kept our blitz rates at the maximum allowed and kept defensive line focus on pass rush and let them feast. We run a 4-3 and its always ended up with our defensive ends racking up sacks near the league lead. This year, however, our defensive line play has impacted me personally since I swapped to defensive tackle for this season. Mendoza hasn't been bad as a defensive tackle - he's putting up a strong case for the best DT at producing sacks in the league, however his tackles for a loss aren't keeping pace which will probably cost him a shot at the defensive tackle of the year award. Honky Tonk Haywood puts up a solid combination of sacks and tackles for loss and will probably bring home the award because Mendoza seemingly can't get in the backfield on any play but a pass play.
