This is a tough question to answer because as listed there are so many different theories of what a successful player is and to whom you are presenting this success to. So to break it down I'll create my tier list of inward and outward success.
S-Tier
Outward: Perennial Championship/ Playoff Contender- This is more towards a GM role but I think of the greatest players/GMs as the ones that have all the right strats, roster construction, team cohesion and are always a threat to win it all, even if they are rebuilding you fear what's next to come.
Inward: Has to be the LR experience and community, that is what drives me and so many others to max earn. If I wasn't having fun I wouldn't be here and the more fun I have the more inspired I am to write media, talk in discord, watch streams ETC. If you have a great teams culture that is S-tier success.
A-Tier
Outward/Inward: Awards Winning- I think this goes both ways- it feels good to have your player be recognized for your build that hopefully you had most of the control of and seeing yourself in the history books. It makes you want to go back and do it again and it shows the league you are a force to be reckoned with.
C-Tier
Outward: Recreating- I think being able to recreate really shows your dedication to the league and hopefully your desire to be here, I would rank this higher but the ability to retire and recreate really dampens the success tier as you can retire quickly and recreate.
