Leadership requires boldness. Only through the admixture of innovation and pragmatism may a leader enhance the scope of typical behavior and institute memorable changes which might benefit the league. If made commissioner, I would recognize that while the phrase "if it ain't broke, don't fix it," has merit, the opportunity to be made commissioner for a day requires bold leadership.
And so, if I was commissioner for a day, I would institute an irrevocable rule titled "The Brother Rule."
Teams are families. The strongest teams are those which demonstrate the strongest bonds among players. When players cross the confines of teammate to family member, greatness becomes visible. Thus, when players enter the league already bonded by blood, they should be permitted to join a team together to further strengthen those familial bonds within such a team.
Under "The Brother Rule," players will be eligible to be drafted with one an other if the following conditions are met. First, first posts from each player must mention one another. Second, a wiki must be created for each player in which each, again, mentions one another. Third, each brother must have an image of the brothers together in their signature line.
Once all three conditions are met, a new post with links to all met conditions must be submitted for review. Once approved by a "Brother Checker," a new position paid 3 million dollars a year, the brothers will have an asterisk on all draft pages. As approved brothers, any team which drafts a single brother may claim the second brother. However, they must make such a declaration while drafting the first brother. At their next draft pick, such a team will be obligated to take the brother.
As a side note, should a team draft Brother 1 in Round 1, claim Brother 2 in Round 2, and then trade picks to move up before receiving Brother 2, they still must use the NEXT pick after Brother 1 to take on Brother 2 regardless of where that pick is.
This rule will reward teams who pick one brother with the benefit of the other and will encourage teams to trade if the brother are attractive enough.
To prevent abuse, however, there will be a user limitation. Two users may not be brothers with consecutive players. Each user, upon retiring a Brother, must build a new non-related player and play them until regression hits. After playing through the entirety of a career with a single child, only then may that use play with a brother again.

There comes a time in every boy's life when he crosses a threshold. A moment where the childlike lethargy of summer transmutes into industriousness and energy towards self-improvement. Sometimes, that single moment transforms the boy into the man he grows into, but other times, there are several moments that define the man his tribe knows him to be.
When Morpheus was 13 years old, his summer nights were spent on the play ground, discussing cards, video games, and television with his friends. Their social order was dictated not by strength or size but by wit and who might contribute the most to any conversation. An easy and natural conversationalist, Morpheus enjoyed the respect of his clan. But then Barbara appeared. With curly blonde hair and eyes which disappeared into the afternoon sky, Morpheus' friends no longer wanted to discuss the frivolities of childhood but instead who might win her heart.
Morpheus threw his childhood pleasures aside. Only Barbara could satisfy Morpheus now. And so he learned what she liked. She liked strong boys who played sports. Morpheus now liked playing sports.
And so Morpheus spent hours in solitude each night learning how to play soccer, football, and the proper technique for running track. Morpheus would be the object of Barbara's affections just as she was his. Nights turned to weeks, weeks turned to months, and soon Barbara was sitting on the bleachers, her skirt just barely draping over her crossed knees as she watched the boys try out for the high school football team.
Morpheus lined up at DE because it meant he'd be closest to Barbara. He hoped that by lining up closest to her, she would see him thrive. And then she would be his.
At the sound of the whistle Morpheus took off, thoughts of rushing towards Barbara filling his brain. And as he imagined what their first kiss might look like, he felt the impact of his body destroying another's. And he relished in it. In an instant, Barbara was gone from his imagination. He was instead captivated by the boys surrounding him, telling him how great he did. He was elated as coaches came to him and told him he would make the team. He looked over and saw a pleased Barbara. But Morpheus was no longer interested. He had a new crowd to please.
