Ahh yes, the Minnesota Grey Ducks are finally updating their stadium! You know, there are a few things that I would love to see added to such a great stadium already. First and foremost, we need to have Vincent Sharpei Jr. area where you can throw balls to a Vincent Sharpei Jr. look-a-like. How could the kids not love that? Vincent Sharpei Jr. is without a doubt probably the best wide receiver to come out of Minnesota. On top of that, another area would be how to learn to return kicks like a pro, and it will have video instruction and a small little area for you to work on your cuts and jukes with Vincent Sharpei Jr. And of course, there will be a stand area that serves all of Vincent Sharpei Jr’s favorite foods that he has grown accustom to while in Minnesota. You could call this area of the stadium, Sharpei’s corner, so that everyone knows where to go, and after every game, Vincent Sharpei Jr. goes to his little corner and signs jerseys and whatever else the fans brings for an hour or so. What a great guy. Minnesota has been so lucky to have such an amazing presence on their team. Vincent Sharpei Jr’s corner! How could we go wrong.

A show revolving around Vincent Sharpei Jr…. What an interesting concept. Well honestly, it would probably have an amazing plot, and do you want to know what that plot is? Well, here I am to tell you what that plot will be. It will break down everything that Vincent Sharpei Jr. has done and there will be a detective, named Mr. Detective, trying to figure out how Vincent Sharpei Jr. is able to do everything that he does without any issue. No injuries, no nothing. He just keeps going. You never see Vincent Sharpei Jr. eat, sleep, or anything, just work over and over again. Long story short, the detective goes and tries to find out if Vincent Sharpei Jr. is actually human, or a cyborg, or an alien, or whatever he could possibly be. And while I already know the answer to that question and what he is, I guess you guys are just going to have to wait until there is a show made about Vincent Sharpei Jr. to find out if he is actually human or something from another world. We are actually about to go pitch this show to Netflix in the coming weeks so be on the look out for this new show.

I still have a lot of issues with this new sim. A lot of the issues we had with 16 still feel like they are happening here, but maybe I’m just crazy. The sim does show that the better team wins more often then not, because well, in 16 a shitty team could win, and I don’t think the home field advantage is as noticeable granted I haven’t been watching the games since I stepped down as a GM. But I still feel there are “meta builds” and the fact that there are still a lot of issues with balancing and builds. I have also noticed that the defensive line is actually worse now then it was before in DDSPF 16, which is such a hard thing to swallow. There were supposed to be better and while the sim does have some differences, I haven’t noticed too much of a difference, outside of these new “builds” which we could have just done on DDSPF 16, but they wanted a new sim. I do think still, that the sim was rushed and there should have been more time worked on it before switching and just not enough time to actually be a difference maker in the league as a whole. I still think while it has had some good things, the league rushed a change.

While I have my current position as wide receiver, if I could not have been that then I probably would have been a running back. I would have picked running back because well, all of my players have been on the defensive side of the ball sans Vincent Sharpei, who started as an Offensive Lineman and went to linebacker. I just have always been a team first guy in points of players and always been a DL / LB / CB for whatever the team I was on needed, where they needed a max player who would get to a max build ASAP and be a staple for the team. I have finally been able to get out of that mold with Vincent Sharpei Jr. and I wanted to be a guy that can be leaned on, offensively and been able to be a great contributor on that sided of the ball. Is it the best? Well, I don’t know about that, but I will say it’s a very welcome pace of something different from instead of being on the other side and always playing In the less favorable positions because well its just what the team needed badly, to get into the ISFL and be a contributor as soon as possible.
