25. Imagine your current position was not available to be picked when you created your player. What other position would you have picked, and why?
When I was first creating I had to toss up many positions and which I would like to find myself in, I was interested in sacking the quarterback and being a general overall disruptive force and linebacker seemed to be the best availiable position to acheive my goals. If the greatest defensive position of linebacker was not avaliable when I picked to create a player I would have then had a toss up between the next best positions, either a safety or a defensive tackle. I wonder if I would have gone defensive tackle and tried to keep sacking the quarterback and tackling runners or gone for the safety and tried to pick the opposing quarterback of and to be the last line of defense when runners get past. I think regardless I would have gone defensive minded as it seemed more likely to have success than to go on the other side of the ball and tried to score. I think defensive tackle would be my final choice as they have the best chance to sack a quarterback and to be a defensive disruption, I would have to put on weight and bulk up to fit the role but it would be a fun position, perhaps next time.
29. Awards have been a subject of controversy for a while in the league. Tell us your ideas on how awards process can be fixed.
Awards are always a controversy regardless of the sport or the way they are chosen. There are always people who have issues with how they are decided on and if it is the correct choice. I am not sure if I can "fix" the awards process, my way of awarding awards would be to have a hybrid between having people like GM's and also perhaps the "general public" obviously this has to be done carefully. I would do this with a weighting system. The normal GM picks would have full strength and then the public could vote on the awards and these would be tallied up and given some sort of strength to the award, perhaps 25% of the total, like 10 points for a GM pick and then 2.5 for the public (based on the vote total from the public) The public would have a vote and choose who they think should win and this would be the "public pick" either something like this or just another way for the masses to voice their opinion, generally people do pick who they think should win rather than meme or pick their friends but allowing people to show who they think should win would help clear up if there was actually a consensus snub.
19. If your player had a show starring them, what would the plot be? Graphic Option: Create the cover art for your player’s show
If for some reason a tv company wanted to have a show starring A.J. Lucas I would be surprised, he isn't an all star player and although he is reasonably prominent in the Baltimore Hawks locker room and city he is more of a rise and grinder than a personality player. I think if he had a show the plot would be about a behind the scenes look at an ISFL player and what goes on in his training regiment, training camps and practices and then pre-game. There would be a mic set up on most of the events to get snippets of what gets said on the defensive side of things and how he listens to his leaders on the defense to line up correctly and try to make an impact. I think it would be popular for everyone to watch as seeing how just one person can play an impact on a team would be interesting rather than focusing on the all star and stand out people. There would hopefully not be any sort of drama plot points but just a documentary style approach as to how players prepare and what their bodies go through in the day and week of a professional football player in the ISFL.
