I beleive this fits in the league history sub catagory, if not it fills the passionate one
One of if not the greatest moment in the history of her league is going to be the Season 22 Ultimus between the Colorado Yeti and the Orange County Auditors coming into the game the yeti were eight and five and were second in the NSF see during the regular season or as the Otters were three leading the asfc during the regular season and for one of the more dominant teams in the league so far. In the first round of the playoffs the yeti played the selfish and won comfortably 36 to 14 the sailfish coming in under 500 during the regular season the yeti then fold that up with a close 17 to 16 win over the regular-season champion Yellowknife wraiths making them a surprise team to be in the ultimate final. The Otters on the other hand in the first round of the playoffs beat the SaberCats 16 to 13 in a game that was more comfortable than the final score would suggest in the victory with a 50 to 38 win over the Copperheads. Both teams were coming in sweating somewhat of a hot streak and this game looks to be something that many people are looking forward to if we look at what teams and players were wanting to win the majority of people in the league would have wanted the otters to win, and that being purely because they had their TV writing on it rather than the yeti who really no one put as their eventual champion and playoff predictions. Now moving to the game if we look quickly at the scoring summary we can see why this game became one of the greatest moments in league history in the first quarter of the scoring was light with only a 2-yard touchdown run by Tatsu Nakamura, in that quarter than ended with a 7 to nothing lead from the otters in the second quarter and bringing us into halftime the others were able to put up a second touchdown from humongo and then the yeti were able to tack on a field goal at the end of the quarter bringing us with a final score of 14 to 3 at the end of the first half. At this point it was looking relatively Bleak for Colorado a less talented team going up against a more talented team down 11 at half with not much to go on offense at all to that point. At the beginning of the third quarter Colorado quickly gave the ball back to Orange County who went down the field and were able to punch the ball into the end zone for another set of points bring the score at this point to a combined 21-3 making the game seem completely out of reach for the yeti at this time with the Otters just having to run down the clock and secure the victory. In their final drive of their of the third quarter. The yeti were able to march down and wolfe micdummy was able to punch one into the endzone himself bringing the yeti a little bit closer to the Otters than it looked but still somewhat of a safe game for Orange County just having to run down the clock at this point to secure the win. Orange County got the ball back and instead of really running it down they at one point decided to pass the ball three times in a row resulting in two incomplete passes and then a large sack backing them up to their own 17 to where they were then forced to punt return the ball back to Colorado and that is how we ended the third quarter with a score of 21 to 10 Colorado with the ball and at this point you might say the Colorado had a chance to come back all though they did not have what one might consider to be a powerful offense and Orange County for sure did. That said Colorado got the ball back and they were able to quickly chunk Orange County down the field with a couple of big passes and they were able to go down and actually punch it into the end zone going for two it was converted bringing the score to 21 to 18 and at this point you might see momentum was totally on Colorado side being down by 18 points just a few minutes ago in terms of game time and now they are three points back and have a chance. Pets at Orange County's offense still had the ball and they were able to drive down the field taking off about 6 minutes of game time bring those do forcing Colorado to go down and actually punch the ball into the end zone if they wanted to have a chance to win the game. With four minutes left, Rhoda had the ball and methodically broke down the field a couple of Dick 1819 and 30 yard plays in there before they are able to get down to the Orange County 10-yard Line where McDummy completed a pass to Bishop punching the ball into the end zone with 38 seconds left in the game. After a converted extra point the yeti were now up by score of 25 to 24 coming back from a score that was on the edge of incompatible the yeti were able to put this one in and convert the comeback. With 38 seconds left Orange County was not able to put anything together to come back and put up a field goal and Colorado walked off as ultimate champion one of the greatest moments in league history and likely the greatest comeback just due to the circumstances of this being in the Ultimus final.
