32. Affliate PT from either SHL/PBE. The Weeks must match with the timeframe of this UW. And you may only use a max of 1.

29. Awards have been a subject of controversy for a while in the league. Tell us your ideas on how awards process can be fixed.
I think the easiest way to fix awards is to lower their value. In my opinion, the awards in this league should be 100% user voted on. In the place of awards there should instead be an official All-Pro team that the GMs or a committee vote on. This would be just as prestigious, if not more prestigious, than the awards and would also allow a couple more people to get recognition each year. The awards would still be nice and hold value, possibly even more value to some people if they view the community that way, but this would open up a much broader spectrum of possible player recognition. I would also be in favor of the league announcing players of the week in the ASFC and NSFC, like they do in the NFL. In my eyes, player recognition = player involvement = player retention. And even if your player isn’t one who gets an award/player of the week/all-pro nomination, you can still look at those as something to build your players towards. Goals = need for development = player involvement = player retention. I’m not sure how viable these ideas are, but I think they could go a long way towards keeping players interested in the league, and also bringing new faces into our locker rooms.

26. Football is a game that has been going on for a while, loved by fans all over. But what if you were able to make some rule changes? Talk us through your new version of football, and what would be different and why?
Redraft the whole league. No seriously. We all love fantasy football, many of us play it even here, now imagine if you heard about the NFL doing this in real life. The build up would be immense and the shockwaves would be felt for years, but it would be awesome to see the outcomes of the draft, and, more importantly to me, how NFL GMs value and view players around the league. There are so many variables that could play into where a player was redrafted. Skill, age, contract, speed, height, weight, offense, defense, stacking position groups. I could go on and on about what factors into a player’s value. Then getting to see it all play out? Yes please. Imagine watching the Bengals draft Russell Wilson and Davante Adams! Or locking down the defensive line with Chase Young and Aaron Donald! I mean the possibilities are endless, and as a gigantic football nerd I would pay an obscene amount of money (like 20 bucks idk) to see this play out in real life. I guess it would kind of suck having to buy new jerseys but that is a minor downside to a major upside, count me all in for operation NFL redraft.

31. The World Football Association was established last season and is currently playing out for the first time. What do you think about the WFC as a whole and how it has been shaping out. Do you think it will end up a success?
I’ve been enjoying the WFC! It’s been a nice way to still get my dot football fix, but with a bit less stress (it’s not stress, I just don’t know what word I’m looking for here) since it’s not for the team that drafted me. I also like that I now have even more stats to check! Before I had to wait weeks to see Willie Miller record a whopping 2 tackles and 1 pass breakup, but now I don’t even have to wait. I think the WFC as a whole was handled pretty well, the launch was smooth and the first couple of games have been going well, except for that resim (apologies that might have been SHL, can’t remember). The team graphics were awesome and the discord seems like a fun place. I wish I could have represented the Midwestern United States this year, but I understand I did not make the cut and will happily wear the Red and White for Canada. I do think the WFC will be a success and will become a staple of the ISFL for years to come. The SHL has done a great job so far with the IIHF, so as long as we can mirror them and try to make the WFC as great as it can be, we should have year round hockey for the foreseeable future.
