(S31) PT 1 - End of a Decade

I think this one is an easy one to talk about because my last player played his prime seasons during the last decade and I have some very fond memories from the career of San Jose Sabercat wide receiver Deondre Thomas Fox. During Season 24 and Season 25, Deondre Thomas Fox was the number one wide receiver for the franchise where I spent the career of my first two players in the International Sim Football League. It was more seasons than that of course so why do I just bring up these two seasons in particular? Well, these seasons are the seasons when the San Jose Sabercats broke through and won back to back Ultimus titles and were on top of the league for two straight seasons and well...broke minds and hearts in the process of doing so! The Sabercats I would say were never the crowd favorite in both of their titles or at least the betting favorites so the fact that San Jose came out on top for two straight seasons is pretty remarkable. My player, Thomas-Fox was never great in the title games in general but he had some big moments in the playoffs whether it be on kick returns. It was amazing being part of the team that won 2 straight! I also can still say that San Jose has never won an Ultimus in this league without me on their team and now have 3 Ultimus titles myself having one with Christ and then 2 with Deondre Thomas Fox. He was not the best receiver during his time in the league but he was the number one receiver and kick return option for a back to back Ultimus winning team and that is pretty cool!
