(S31) PT 1 - End of a Decade

Interesting timing on the PT for me since I just finished the career on my first player and began the career of my second. I think my favorite memories of the past 10 seasons, and by extension my favorite part of a player’s career, is the entire draft process. Coming into the league in S22 as part of a massive draft class was an amazing experience, and I really think I was lucky to have done it since there haven’t really been any classes of that magnitude since, with the exception of the S25 reddit class. The experience and challenge of having to set yourself apart from 280 other people was such a fun experience. Beyond that though, I continued having fun throughout the seasons with the draft. After a couple seasons I found myself in the Tijuana Luchadores war room and helping with the draft process in the form of both scouting and discussing with the war room who we were targeting and who we should take at any given moment. A couple seasons after that I became one of the GM’s in Tijuana, and was able to take the draft board and really make it my own in terms of organization and setup and all that kind of stuff. The draft has been my favorite part of the league, and I’m excited to see what happens in my recreate’s ISFL draft at the end of this season.
