Patrik Money wakes up at the crack of dawn. He is not an early morning person still, but his potato farm isn’t going to farm itself. Being up in the cold Yellowknife weather, every morning Money has to go out and defrost the crops or risk losing the entire years harvest. After the morning work on the farm he eats his breakfast, a hearty protein shake and 5 eggs on toast and gets ready for football activities. As one of the veterans on the team he is not required to come to practice every day to save his body some damage as he isn’t what he once used to be. Whether he is practicing or not though, he heads down to the training ground to support the boys who are playing. It’s an important bond and why Money knows everyone on the team well. After training Money has the late afternoon/evening to himself. Depending on the time of year this might be an entire night of light and activities or already pitch black. If it’s light then Money loves going ice fishing on the great Slave lake or dogsledding. Today is one of those days and Money heads out to the lake to fish. 4 hours later and he still hasn’t caught a fish. The camera crew are packing up and going home. They were hoping to follow a player in sunnier climes than the cold of Yellowknife.
