While he may not be at the top of many lists, Erasmo Broadway certainly deserves to be. Last year on a 4-10 Baltimore Hawks team, Broadway finished with 39 tackles, 6 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, 1 interception, and 9 passes defended. While the tackles for loss were respectable, Broadway did lead all LB's in passes defended. Now, I know what you're thinking. How can a man who lead his position in a statistical category be most improved? If that thought crossed your mind, you clearly haven't been paying attention to how Broadway is playing this year.

This year, while playing for a currently 8-4 Baltimore Hawks (think that improvement is a fluke?) Broadway has absolutely feasted. Through 12 games, he already has 105 tackles, 6 tackles for loss, 1 forced/recovered fumble each, 11 sacks, 2 interceptions, 10 passes defended, and a safety. That means, in 2 less games, he has improved by 66 tackles, broken even in tackles for loss, sacked quaterbacks 8 more times, picked off 1 more pass, defended 1 more pass, and recorded a fumble forced, a fumbled recovered, and a safety. Broadway is third in the NSFL in tackles, third amongst linebackers in tackles for loss, 2 amongst linebackers for sacks (fifth overall), and tied for the lead in passes defended amongst all linebacks. His play this season had been absolutely phenomenal and a big reason the Hawks have made massive strides this year.
