At the moment, my beloved Chicago Butchers are sitting at a record of two wins to three losses. After exceeding expectations last season, we felt that there would be a decent amount of pressure on us to repeat, or at least have a similar season. And sitting at 2-3, we aren’t exactly thriving under that pressure. We knew that getting back to where we were last season would be a tough task. We had five call ups this offseason, which means we have five rookies playing for us. Then once you count in the fact that we had something like four or five call ups last season, and you realize that something around half of our roster has one year of ISFL playing experience or less, including our quarterback. We’re going to just keep doing what we’re doing, though. Our team is earning fairly well, so we should get better and better each week. And we’re going to keep having fun while we’re doing it!
