(S32) PT 2 - Overreactions

Considering how the Sabercats have performed in recent seasons, I would say the team is doing pretty well so far. We're winning every other game so if that trend holds, well watch out cause 8-8 here we come. Jokes aside though, that would be an improvement over last season of course and a trend in the right direction. When I was drafted a few seasons ago, Sabercats were one of the worst teams in the league so seeing us actually starting to put things together so early in my career has me excited to be with this team for the long haul. We'll see if we can maybe finally string a few wins together in the back half of the season. As far as my own individual performance though, yikes. I'm a rookie so you can't expect much, but it's almost like I'm not on the field some games. I know that with 3 other linebackers ahead of me on the depth chart it would be harder to get snaps but I was definitely hoping that I'd be doing more even in a limited role. But so far through 7 games I've had 10 tackles and no sacks. I mean back in the DSFL that was sometimes my statline from just one game. I'm definitely not upset, I know my time will come. I just wish I was making more of an impact for the team when we're starting to play better.
