We’re chugging right along in Season 32 of the ISFL. Wait, Season 32? That can’t be right. The seasons are flying by. Anyways, we’re through seven games and the Sarasota Sailfish are off to a bit of a slow start as they have struggled with some playoff contenders early on in the season. We can probably go ahead and write off this team and start focusing on Season 33, right? Wrong! The Sarasota Sailfish have somewhat of a reputation of starting the season out slower than expected before building up to yet another playoff appearance by the end of week 16. I personally expect this season to be no different than many of the past. The opening schedule was a bit rough, but Sarasota faces a fair amount of favorable matchups down the stretch this season. If they take care of business, there is no reason they shouldn’t return to the playoffs and extend the longest active playoff streak in the ISFL.
