I jump at any chance to talk DSFL! Let's do a DSFL mid-season All-Pro defensive lineup!
DE: Caleb Watt (20 tackles, 3 TFL, 1 FF, 1 FR, 3 sacks)
DT: @mcgriddleluverArnie Rufus (21 tackles, 6 TFL, 3 sacks)
DE: @2LzyDoc Fireball (16 tackles, 4 TFL, 2 FF, 1 sack)
LB: Mason Jones (25 tackles, 2 TFL, 2 FF, 3 sacks)
LB: @g2019Sconnie McHits (35 tackles, 2 TFL, 4 sacks)
LB: @GreenbaynathanNathan Claflin (31 tackles, 4 TFL, 2 sacks, 1 INT, 4 PD)
LB: Senbyo Korin (32 tackles, 5 TFL, 2 sacks)
CB: Doc Holliday (21 tackles, 1 FF, 2 INT, 6 PD, 1 TD)
CB: @vulfgravyModern Nazgul (25 tackles, 1 FF, 1 INT, 4 PD, 1 TD)
S: Siaosi Multiauaopele (25 tackles, 1 FF, 1 sack, 1 PD)
S: Lance Witt (21 tackles, 1 sack, 1 PD)
This is a stout defensive unit and I plan to say most of these guys on awards ballots, on the All-Pro team, and in the Pro Bowl! On the defensive line, Watt and Fireball have been great at getting to the quarterback, but Rufus is the headliner, as he's absolutely destroying offensive linemen so far this season. The linebacking corps is great at wrapping up ball carriers, getting to the quarterback, and making other impact plays as well, and this group is headed by Claflin, who seems like an early candidate for Defensive Player of the Year after being voted Linebacker of the Year last season. Finally, in the secondary, Holiday and Nazgul already have taken interceptions to the house early this season, with Multi and Witt quietly doing a heck of a job at the safety spots.
