So yes, Sanderson would have caught every pass, but would he have been open to catch all of them?  No

Would he have gotten as many extra yards? No

Would he have helped protect Kyubee as well? No

Would he have blocked for Farlane as well?  Hell no

These two players were not comparable.  He did make a difference.

Someone unrealted to the Hawks cleared a guy to play that shouldn't have been. The Hawks were innocent in this one. The fact of the matter is, you could throw these hypothetical situations out all day, but that's all they are, hypothetical. It's unfortunate that it happened, and I'm sure the rest of my teammates feel the same way, as no matter what we do someone will always be screaming "GIBSON!" in the background.
