The Season 29 draft class is one of the average classes in my opinion. There’s a couple of busts in the first round, but there was some really good value in the later rounds. While there are some superstars, you’ve also got your average, just hangin’ our kinda players too.
I’ll only be listing those I’m familiar with personally. Not trying to make a dig at anyone, but this is a TPE task, not a media article.
1.1 - shadyshoelace - Dante King (RB) - 970 TPE as of writing.
King went first overall to the Baltimore Hawks where has has formed one of the better RB tandems in the league with Busch Goose. In TPE levels, shady is 3rd overall.
1.3 - fever95 - Lip Gallagher (CB) - 980 TPE
Lip went to Baltimore as well. He’s had a good career so far, becoming the best corner on the Hawks roster. Lip is currently ahead of shady in TPE levels.
1.4 - Luciddreams702 - Lucid Dreams (DE) - 847 TPE
WUCID!! Everyone knows this man. He hosts ISFL Game Day with KotASSa whenever they decide to do it, typically once a week. Lucid is, I’m sure, a great LR presence inside Philly and one of the stars in their defense.
1.9 - furiousPanda - Panda McKyle (QB) - 892 TPE
Panda McKyle is one of those people that rolls through the door and says “ding dong” to announce his presence. He has been great since his rookie season last year and is most likely going to be on the Quarterback of the Year ballot, if not Most Valuable Player. Great pick by San Jose here.
1.11 - Opera_Phantom - Jay Cue Jr. (RB) - 998 TPE
Well, well, well. It’s the man, the myth, the legend - Jay Cue Junior. This would have been a great pick for Yellowknife… if they didn’t trade him to Berlin. Cue Jr is going to be the leader in TPE for the rest of his career, most likely, and Yellowknife traded him for basically a 1st round pick since the players they got in return are inactive and near regression themselves, if not already regressing. It’s a big downgrade for a team that brought up their Quarterback of the future in Dustin Parmelee. He doesn’t have a run game to support him, and it showed this season. Yellowknife misses Cue Jr, but their pain was self inflicted.
1.13 - AllBetsOnJames - Tre’Mendus Johnson (LB) - 886 TPE
Jimbo! He’s been an average safety since the position swap. He could’ve been an elite LB for Baltimore but they relegated him to the safety position. Shame. User-wise, fantastic pick.
2.6 - Haseo - Zack DiNozzo (TE) - 841 TPE
Yay. I come in peace. I honestly didn’t know if I’d last this long on my return to the ISFL, but I’m glad I did. OCO has been great fun! I brought the Rookie of the Year back to OCO in Season 30, beating out QB Gimmy Jarappolo Jr against all odds. I was the first TE since Season 6 to win the award and the second Otter to win the award after Steven O’Sullivan in Season 3. How’s that for some history? Now I’m the team’s RB of the future, and I broke the league single season rushing attempts record and won the rushing title. Not bad, eh?
3.1 - bowl0 - Rean Schwarzer (CB) - 783 TPE
OH CAPTAIN MY CAPTAIN! My mans bowl has been a beast for OCO since we drafted him. He is a great locker room presence and has an abundance of jobs in the ISFL so his bank account’s nice and fat. One of my best friends in the league, I don’t think I’d still be on OCO if he wasn’t here. It helps that his player is badass too.
