What do you say to your critics that you are too much mass, not enough skill to make it in the big leagues?

When you put football into it's simplest form, it's about 22 guys sent out in two different colors being told to hit the guys in the opposite color and try to carry a ball to a certain spot. Why wouldn't you want the biggest guy to hit the other team? And when it comes to carrying the ball it's simple physics: "A body in motion tends to stay in motion." Inertia is based on mass and I guess I have a whole lot of inertia.

Can you also comment on the company you keep? *check notepad* Minor League Hockey Hopeful Dakota Reid?

*laughs* She's a good friend of mine going back to high school. She was one of the weird kids at lunch that I always liked to sit next to. She and I have a similar playing style: hard-hitting and high scoring. Only difference I think is that she's much better than me on skates. In the words of Spike: "I like a girl that can kick my ass."

Is there any truth to the rumor that your coach "pressured" the team to use HGH to quicken recovery time from injury, as your Freshman year, you came back from a torn pectoral relatively quickly for something that looked so severe?

No, there was no pressure with the use of drugs or anything like that; but I will admit that I came back from that injury a little bit too early, as evidenced by my less than stellar Sophomore year. But I finally was able to get it all back in working order by the time my Junior year came around. That injury is all in my past now. It's all been healed for a few years and now it's about making sure an injury like that doesn't happen again.

Favorite way to spend time when you aren't preparing for games or practice?

Usually some games like Madden, FIFA, or NHL. But if you're talking about non-sports stuff, I always like reading a solid book. I'm reading a nice biography on the philosophy that surrounds Bill Murray through his real life actions and his roles. A solid film is always nice, but most of the time is spent on video games. Huge fan of the Gears of War and Lara Croft series.

You mentioned a few running backs, Lynch, Hills, and Smith, is there anyone else that comes to mind when you try to compare yourself?

As I think I added, there's definitely something to be said about a comparison to my fellow Duck, LeGarrette Blount, but I think that the role of the rusher has changed a bit in the modern game. If you want me to go back even further, I'd say the most perfect comparison would have to go all the way back to Jim Thorpe. It's an old style of play, but it hasn't truly faded.
