Critics say that you have a habit of ignoring the percentages and running into danger screaming your name, any comment?

One of the biggest things that I learned in my statistics class is that percentages are just numbers. Correlation does not equal causation. Just because most running backs don't gain too much yardage up the gut, that doesn't mean that I won't. I don't think that I am "most running backs" and that sort of danger is my specialty. Screaming my name? I don't really know about that, but I don't really pay attention to the sounds my mouth makes as I plow through the line, so maybe I do that.

You're not the only RB from Oregon in this draft - how was your experience with Reg Mackworthy?

Of course, Reg is a great guy, but he's actually coming out State, not University. But if you mean out of the state of Oregon, I would definitely say that he's a competitor. He likes to go fast. Not exactly someone who I would think would be able to take a hit, but I think he makes up for that in his quickness.

Do you think Reg's solid performance in the preseason Bowl game helps or hurts your own draft stock? Teams could be thinking of you as the next one.

I don't like to put my own success into the frame of others, especially with someone so different than me as Reg. I definitely think that there's a possibility that it could help me, making room for more RBs in the draft after he's picked early; but I don't think he has too much of an affect on my own standing.

I know that it never rains at Autzen Stadium, but do you think your experience in the more...liquid sunshine is an important important trait for the good-weather challenged NSFC teams to consider?

I think growing up in the snows of the Midwest and playing my college ball in the sun of the PAC-12 has really set me up for most any kind of weather, whether it be snow, rain, heat, cold, or even a perfect day.

I'm sure there'll be a heated competition to be the player with the most jerseys sold. What will put you in the running?

I think that what I like to see is someone who relates to me and my story. There are a lot of kids out there struggling with depression, being an outcast, or, yes, just being overweight. I want to show them that there is hope in the world and that they should keep going. I won't be selling jerseys with my flash or my flair, I want to sell them through good play and being an even better person.
