Extra life has been a great event for a while. It is a charity fundraiser that hopes to raise money for children's hospitals and to help kids heal through the power of games and play. The beautiful thing about Extra life is that 100% of the proceeds are given to the hospitals in question with many of the workers working hours and hours for free to give the most back to the kids.
The proceeds go to branches of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. The event has gotten bigger and bigger every year, with many more people helping with live streams and other things to raise money. In 2016 9.6 million dollars were raised for children's hospital and we are all hoping that 2017 can be an even bigger success.
Kristoffer O'Sullivan will do a 24-hour live stream where he will answer questions from fans, do silly games and entertain. Some of his teammates might come by for an hour or two to add excitement. He will also do giveaways at the end of the 24 hours with a raffle for anyone who donated more than a grand during the event. Giveaways will include signed jerseys, helmets, autographs, shoes and gloves. Go get some authentic equipment and donate to help the kids!
