There is nothing in the rulebooks about deleting users posts, but a discussion has been had and that's the most head office can do. Completely out of interest, and not sarcastically asked at all, what would you like to see happen to have this handled better?
I'm sick of the way the Head Office has been acting. I feel like they're closed off and have no feel (or care!) for the rest of the league and their opinions. Saying "The Head Office has discussed it" and "The Head Office is working on it" doesn't help people at all. The Head Office needs to start acting like the rest of the league are humans as well. They need to tell us why they did what they did. Right now, it's like five all-powerful users control everything that goes on.
As for this specific incident, nothing about this ok and I don't know why any Head Office member could possibly delusional enough to think it's logical. Yeah, the Hawks have had two major incidents with TPE incidents, and the Hawks GM knows it's true, knows it wasn't his fault, and knows the rest of the NSFL knows that. There is absolutely no reason to delete the post, and I don't know why it happened. It was a gross overreaction. It's also textbook abuse of mod powers.
As for #GibsonGate, the Head Office also sorely disappointed me. They reacted slowly, inefficiently, and - in my opinion - spectacularly badly. Reverting him to 50 TPE made no sense - it was giving a team a free bonus with zero punishment.
The Head Office (as a whole, not the members) have been exuding a holier-than-thou vibe which really gets on my nerves. I hate the way they've worked for these two incidents. Ugh.
