Hendrix overstepped. He realized it and apologized and brought it up in the GM thread behind closed doors. I don't think there was any rules in place and he was probably used to doing whatever he wanted with his team's forum.
He's emotionally invested in his team and made a mistake, but really this is the first mistake that he has made. The updating issues were not his fault.
But lets be clear.
Nothing game breaking happened with the update blunders,
And Hendrix messing up by deleting a post started a discussion.
Now there is a precedent not to do that for the future (since there was no concrete ruling for it).
Anyways, back to our shitposting and pitchforks.
I just can't understand a view like that. You have no way of knowing that the update blunders didnt change the outcome of games. But thats besides the point, it wasn't anyones fault, accidents happen.
But this is far beyond just messing up. It is clear abuse of mod powers and something like that just can't be ok. To just gloss over them and be like oh yeah it shouldn't happen anymore, thats not setting a precedent. A precedent would be to have a punishment for it. This way you are literally saying it is ok to do this.
