The main thing I see with it is that Rove likely could have been grabbed in the third or even fourth round just based upon his position.

I thought the same thing at first, but the more I think about it we don't know what other teams may have been talking to him and basically grooming him for the future, via sending him down. Who knows what team may have snatched him up and had him change positions. He's an active guy who seems like a team player. But that's all hypothetical. I think for the situation it was a good pick, and it definitely wasn't a BPA pick by any means. It's just hard for me to place anyone else in that spot at the moment
