After being drafted, Samuel Zhang is more focused than ever. In the offseason, he will be focusing mostly on cornerback and wide receiver drills. He will be working first on comeback/Hitch drills to help him backpedaling, Open-Hip Comeback/Hitch Breaks to help his turning for when a wide reciever breaks his route. He will also be working on 45, 90, post, corner, Open-Hip Post, and Dig Route breaks, so his coverage off of the line is scrimmage will be superior. He would never forget to work on drop and read assisted sprints, mirror drills, turn drills, and of course, one-on-ones.
Of course Zhang would never forgot to keep his wide reciever drills sharp. He will be working on the quick feet explosion drill, the find the laces drill, the hand position drill, the band arm drill, the ladder and catches drill, and the game like catches drill. This way, he will be able to keep his ball catching ability and breaking ability strong, which will be useful for both a wide receiver and a corner back. He will also be running routes from the Outlaws playbook and watching a shitton of film to help his route running ability as a wide receiver and make better reads as a cornerback
