This off-season, Dan decided to go back home to New Orleans from San Jose. He decided to get back to basics. He stayed with his parents, played video games and worked out. He wanted to get a bit stronger for the next season but he also needed to unwind.
Other than just playing games, he decided to meet back up with a bunch of old friends from town. They decided that it would be fun to go out and party. They started uptown and went bar hopping while raiding the street car. Over time they made their way downtown and ended up on bourbon.
They decided to spend some time at Pat O Brien's piano bar, which was great fun until a friend that had a bit too much to drink knocked over a table.
After that Dan decided that he was probably ready to head home. A few friends decided to hit up some strip-clubs on bourbon but Dan wasn't feeling the tourist trap today.
With a few weeks remaining in the off-season, he started to step up his work outs, mostly focusing on sleep, working out and video games when his body is too sore to go any more.
He then bid his family goodbye, flew back to San Jose and prepared for the next chapter...
