(S3) - Weekend PT #1 - Off-Season

This offseason, Micah Hendrix knew that it was crucial to make sure that he and the rest of the offensive line would be ready for the upcoming season after an embarrassing performance as one of the worst oline units in the league during season 2. Adam Bennett volunteered to host the offensive line at his Alma mater USC where they could train, work out and game plan for the upcoming season. Preparing for how to integrate new rookie linemen into their scheme was also an important part of their planning. Their training focused on conditioning as well as extensive film study of blocking schemes and assignments.

Hendrix also took some time to relax and spend time with his family who lives in California, especially his grandmother who has always been a source of inspiration for him. He had not seen most of them since before he had been drafted so it was a nice reunion.

Having spent some time relaxing, but a ton of time training, Hendrix and the others returned to Philly to meet up with the team before the draft and meet the new rookies. The line is definitely shaping up to be much better this season and offseason training and bonding such as this is a big part of that improvement.
