Written: Must be at least 200 words, What did your player do this off season to prepare for the upcoming NSFL or DSFL season?
Oles is a simple man, he has only a few goals for his time in the NSFL, and he is always working towards achieving those goals. One such goal was to be defensive rookie of the year, and while he had trouble adjusting to the NSFL early on, he catapulted himself into the award with a great second half, and has made himself into a rising CB in the NSFL. So, what does he do to get better? He takes a step back, he talks to family and friends, he asks how they feel about the current situation. Obviously, they’ll be a bit biased and tell him that he is already the best CB in the game, that the only DB who rivals him are safeties. None of this is true, Oles knows this, he sees where his weakness is, and what needs improvement. He worked towards getting stronger, faster, working on defending the pass better (yes, he had 6 interceptions, but with only 12 PDs throughout the year he is quite a few behind standout Canton). After a period of reflection on the season, it’s time to go towards the next goal, which the reigning winner just so happens to play alongside Oles, and won the award for best DB this past season.
