"Change is good." That's the mantra Antoine Delacour has repeated to himself over and over since Coach Hugo first convinced him to switch to defensive back in high school. It's what has driven his progress from wiry kid to one of the best defensive backs in the NSFL. This off-season is no different. Change is coming.
The Hawks franchise as a whole is about to make some changes. A break with the past, of sorts. Long hours spent in the front office with senior members of the team and the Hawks staff are about to pay off. Gone are the controversial Hawks who were surprisingly good last year. These Hawks are not the same. These Hawks expect to win, and expect to continue their perfect home record.
The new direction for the franchise has served as a catalyst for personal development, and we are about to witness Antoine Delacour 2.0, a key component in the new-look Baltimore Hawks. Delacour has spent additional time in training, and put in even more hours in the tape room. After realising that the best corners in the league are comfortable going on-on-one with the best receivers, the kid from Lafayette identified a shortcoming in his own game and has taken steps to address it. Flying Thunder will be looking to strike harder and faster than ever before.
Change is good.
