(S3) - PT #1 - Rookie Spotlight

The rookie I am looking most forward to see play is rookie tight end Joseph Askins for the Yellowknife Wraiths. He might not be the most exciting player coming out of college, but I think he has more potential than anyone else coming out of this draft class due to the hard work he puts in week in and week out. At ASU, Askins was known by all of his teammates to be a guy who was first on the field and the last one to leave. This hard working mentality should cross over into the National Simulation Football League and Askins will soon be a force to be reckoned with.

In his first two preseason games with the Wraiths, Askins has been fairly quite as far as production goes, catching only 2 passes each game averaging 5 yards per catch, but he has been very active in other parts of the game. He has done a great job at opening up holes for the offense, allowing the run game to get going, and he even had four pancake blocks against the San Jose Sabercats!

Askins is a player with loads of potential, and after landing on the perfect team to suit his needs, he should be a household name in no time at all.
