I feel like with the "mirror-bot" for the season, DSFL GMs won't feel like they got shafted that hard, plus if there is a last minute call up, the GM can still use the player for the game.

I like the suggestions and the thought process. In terms of making the DSFL GM feel like they didn't get as shafted, it's a good thing. Besides that, it's just not the same having bots. It's also just extra work needing to be done by having a mirror-bot. I do like the thought process though like I said, I'm just not sure if it's realistic.
