I have several lucky charms I keep in my locker. The first is a lucky bracelet I wear during each game. It is mostly orange, fitting to the team I play for, the Otters. I also usually wear a similar outfit to the game, with a lucky sweater as part of the outfit. It is striped and I bought it years ago and always wore it to all my college exams to bring me luck.
Even the rest of my game-time routine is considered a lucky charm. The headphones are a lucky charm too! I need a lot of luck you see. I am a big believer in that.
Even my equipment is part of my lucky charms. I love my cleats, my shoulder pads and my gloves. Somehow I have the feeling they are special, as if they give me special powers to catch the ball better, to tackle harder and to be faster. I know it sounds silly but I swear it happens! I think next season I will buy some new ones again, somehow I have the feeling that every season they will give me a boost and make me an even better player.
Perhaps lucky charms should be sold in the store too, that might be fun
