Before coming the the National Simulation Football League, Josh Garden was primed to be an NFL wide receiver. He came out of Baylor and not much was known about him besides rumblings of a drug problem and the national media coverage of his top level talent and big play ability. The draft process came and went and Josh Garden got a tryout with the St. Louis Rams. While still doing warm ups and stretching at his first tryout practice, Garden was taken aside by a league representative and was issued a mandatory league drug test. Garden immediately failed and was removed from practice followed by being suspended before even getting to take a practice rep. After that things took a turn for the worst for Garden as he failed more tests and was subsequently suspended from almsot every other major or minor football league in North America, including the Arena Football League, the Canadian Football League, and the World Football League. He even got himself suspended for life from the Mexican Football League before he found his way to the National Simulation Football League. Garden seems to have turned himself around from that first ever NFL tryout he had and has shown the mental capacity to overcome his past hurdles.
