I ask because I'm curious as to why lendoris gets the cash for someone else's work.

I would say this is a bit of a fallacy. Maybe in this case it is a valid question but I personally have used that page for a lot of different articles and ideas just as a basis and then did a lot of analysis on top of it. I think it is fine.
