It's no secret that the Orange County Otters have an Achilles' heel, a fatal weakness which they have still not been able to overcome. Then again, neither has anyone else. That weakness is the Arizona Outlaws, a team which no matter home or away, regular season or playoffs, always defeats the Otters. The "obvious" answer is that the Outlaws are and have been the best team in the league up to this point, but it just doesn't add up. You just have to look at the roster to see why. At QB, King Bronko sucks, he honestly has no talent and yet he is the second highest rated QB in the league. How can that be except league manipulation? Secondly, their vaunted defense is about to set historically low numbers of points allowed despite players like Hariff Ernston spending more time complaining about not getting enough attention than they do training for games.
If you ask this author, the league is secretly allowing Outlaws players to take TPE-enhancing drugs because they know that Outlaws fans are bandwagoners and fairweather losers, who will abandon the franchise if their team doesn't win on a consistent basis. It's a shame that hard-working, blue collar fans in cities like Santa Ana and Yellowknife have to endure watching their teams fall short every year when they should be playing in the championship.
