That's a great point. I'm fine with preventing the tier 3 and tier 4 bots to be unlocked at a later time. Basically we can benchmark it as a player hits the threshold, they get to be the top dog of that for that year. A bot with equivalent or less TPE is now purchasable next year.

So in this example, no OL Bot will have more TPE than the highest TPE player.

I would be careful tying it to the highest OL player. Some may take this opportunity and jump ship to another position (paid or otherwise) and you will be left with no OL breaking those caps for many many seasons while Dline continue to improve.
