I'm curious, what's the point of keeping the equipment purchased, but then allowing it to apply to other equipment?
It seems complicated
1.) To go and get the TPE amounts for all of the equipment
2.) and then figure out what other equipment you could apply it to.

with the end result as a redistribution.

I don't see how just full 100% TPE re-distribution isn't going to get a very similar if not the same result for much less work and headache.

Either way, we need to talk this over in the HO.

The reason there's a difference is the part of equipment that don't help. So for example I bought shoulder pads and want to keep shoulder pads. I have to use the TPE for tackling as opposed to being able to move it. I think this way is the perfect middle ground and doesn't give either party an advantage over the other.
