I agree with you on scaling up mid-contract, but doubling min contracts is a very bad idea.

500 TPE - 9
400 TPE - 34
300 TPE - 31

lets assume that TPE doubles by S6, which is very reasonable. Then its:

1000+ - 9 - $90,000,000
800 - 34 - $272,000,000
600 - 31 - $186,000,000
Total Number of players - 74
Total Numbers of players per team - 9.25
Total Cap by 600+ TPE players - $548,000,000
Total Cap available by 8 NSFL teams - $600,000,000
Total Cap available for all other players(all S1, S2, S3 players not currently over 300 TPE, all S4, S5, S6 draftees, OL bots) - $52,000,000
Total Cap available for all other players per team - $6,500,000

doubling mins would make a HUGE shortage of cap. 9 player average per team making 91% of each teams cap. We're gonna have a major disparity, people are going to be unsigned, not just lowTPE people but even 400-500 TPE people. guys will be stuck in DSFL for the sole purpose of cap. NSFL teams wont have enough players to field a full roster. Teams wont have any money for OL bots.

Expansion could potentially fix that issue, but i dont think thats a good plan. First of all, we barely have any players in DSFL, why add things in the NSFL yet? And second, even with expansion:

Total Cap available for all other players(all S1, S2, S3 players not currently over 300 TPE, all S4, S5, S6 draftees) - $202,000,000
Total Cap available for all other players per team(assuming 10 team league) - $20,200,000

Thats still not a lot. 10M for OL bots, 2 400 TPE guys and 1 200 TPE guy. Or just 5 400 TPE guys and no OL bots. so you end up having a team with 12-14 players and strapped for cash. And thats with these number, which i would say are very generous considering a nice S3 draftvonly has one guy over 300 TPE so far but have many many actives, and we're not including 3 whole draft classes in this. Thats a very very VERY bad situation for the league

Thanks for this analysis, but raising the cap and enacting this doubling only for actives should reduce the problem somewhat.
