I was encouraged to do everything I could by fellow members when I joined. PTs, predictions, ultimus week, and even to buy equipment since "you're playing games, why wouldn't you wear equipment in them?". One member even pointed out to get my S3 equipment so I could get more in S4.
I mean, had I not been able to do that stuff when I first started I probably would've lost interest sitting around for weeks. But instead I was typing stuff, having fun with my player writing about him, and most importantly, I learned about the league, having to look through the index and check out games and players and stats for some PTs or predictions.
and not once did anyone stop and say "hey you can't do these" as they were graded and put into the claim threads. Instead I was applauded for my efforts and for being active. I was encouraged to do more by the community like I said.
I get not being able to do training camp, since that's at the start of the season and whatnot. But anything else that went live Since we became a member? Should be allowed. It's kind of common sense.
People being essentially punished because they joined earlier than others isn't their fault. This isn't like the SHL where new players are either forwards or Defensemen and it gives a distinct advantage because there's only 5 players on the ice. There's so many positions and different things going on here in the NSFL that it doesn't have to be as restricted and can be more fun.
