Go look through plenty of retirement threads. The majority have explanations.

It's pretty weird when a mass retirement of a single team doesn't have an explicit reason.

So yeah, you don't owe anyone an explanation, but if I jump to conclusions about you, I don't owe you the benefit of the doubt either.

That's fine. If I was on the outside I'd be curious, too. Many people wondered why it happened and - pause for dramatic effect - asked. Others jumped to conclusions and crafted their own explanations. It's that reaction that's validating the retirees' reasons.

It's funny watching this reaction as a Legion player who did not retire as Keygan is cast as the villain, as a cunning manipulator who tricked innocent active players into a mass retirement. I understand their retirements now more than ever.
