Favorite moment from college?
I think I most closely resemble Randy Moss. I am still working on getting my stats to his level but I think by the prime of my career I will have his speed and his hands.
As for my favorite moment from college I think the final time we played Illinois had to be my favorite. It was a grueling defensive battle, guys had broken fingers but wouldn't tell the refs so they could still play. The score was 17 to 13 Illinois in the 4th with 1:24 left to go on the clock. They had just scored their touchdown to take the lead and we had it on the 29 after a decent kick return. After I dropped 2 passes (still can't believe I did) and a 2 yard failed screen, we had less than a minute left on the clock when our QB went for a 22yard scramble to save us on 4th down. on their 49 we completed a couple short and medium ranged passes to get down to the 9 yard line. I hadn't caught a pass all drive and my quarterback, after spiking the ball to stop the clock, got everybody in the huddle. He says that with only 3 seconds left on the clock and no timeouts this will be the last play of the game. he turns to me and says he's throwing it to me no matter what, that he trusts me to make a fucking play. I line up on the right side of the field, I have a simple shake and bake route, short cut infield then cut right to the corner of the endzone where my QB is going to put it. I look at the CB and notice that it's the CB that has been dominating me all game, he is top 3 in interceptions and passes defended in the NCAA. not only that put they decided to put a safety on me too. The QB hikes the ball and I make my move inside and the freshman safety oversteps, he has no chance of contesting the ball now since he's out of position. I cut back inside and near the corner of the endzone. Looking back over my shoulder I see the ball, it's underthrown...This is right into the arms of the CB, I reach my right hand over his shoulder pads, we're both leaping at this point, and with my 2 inch height advantage I manage to rip the ball out of his fingertips and over both of our heads. We fall to the ground and I didn't realize it at the time but I didn't just throw that ball out of his hands, I grabbed it. It was a catch. Touchdown Mizzou.
