Happy for my MB boy Muford, don't know Bayley but I'm sure Chicago will be in good hands. Still think this whole process was a hot mess to even get to this point with Jiggly pushing hard to get the team, but hoping for a successful turnaround in Chicago!

The HO choice was also a prospect. HO can make an exception if need be

Damned if you do damned if you don't. part of the reason that chicago might've denied it is because the choice was convenience and that HO was focused not on picking the best candidate but on picking the candidate that they could most easily get since he was s23.

The bigger issue for me would be hiring a player who's under contract with another team before a trade has been made official.

Regardless though, these are 2 of my best friends (both of whom have GM'd alongside me) & I have the utmost confidence in them to turn this thing around.

Also a big difference between an s22 prospect and a recently retired s23 prospect like HO offered
