Hello Everyone,
Back again with the passed rules for this year as well as a much needed facelift for our trusty old rulebook. This year two rules proposals satisfied the 2/3 majority voting requirements to be adopted into the NSFL Rulebook and are present in the PDF below with green highlights for reference. The rules are as follows.
1. Institute a program for Open Bidding for Inactive FAs during the Offseason: In GM Section on forums, bidding team creates post for IA FA they are bidding on. If another team wants the same player, they add a reply to that post with the higher bid. If 24 hours pass with no additional bids, then the player is awarded to the team with the highest bid. At the end of that contract, the team has the option to re-sign the player for no less than they won him for in bidding last season, or let the player enter free agency. (Note that the 24 hour right of first refusal on IA FAs still exists, this simply legislates what happens if that right is waived)
2. Effective Immediately, the language surrounding the initial free training is clarified to state that the program is only available to new users. This effectively means that recreates are not eligible for the first free training bonus.
