A 5 star prospect coming out of the Queen's city, Terry Taffy had high expections to perform at Ohio State. He was an explosive back who had good route running along with the strength to run inside.
He had a fiery start to the year, posting high stats versus Rutgers and Tulane. Against LSU, he suffered a season ending injury to his knee, which required multiple surgeries. Among his return the following year, he was unable to perform with the same athleticism as the year prior, but it was in year two that his excellent route running skills shone through. He had a pretty excellent receiver as Urban was able to use him correctly. In his third year, he sat out for the first few games. Upon his return, he seemed like the speedster out of high school, his frame had notably increased.
He received attention for good measurementables and a skill set of a recieving running back. He decided to declare upon the coaching change despite being a fan of new head coach, Ryan Day.
