***COMPLETE, READY FOR GRADING***
Below you will find some of the interesting stats from the S19 Fantasy Drafts
TPE Rank vs. Draft Rank
![[Image: image.png]](https://i.ibb.co/4TMzbFK/image.png)
The biggest surprises here were Ruff Ruff being the 11th highest draft ranking despite having the 45th highest TPE rank a difference of 34 spots.
Despite having the 28th best TPE in the league Brock Landers found himself drafted only once, the 63rd best draft performance, McDummy is in a similar boat with the 16th highest TPE and being drafted only 6 times, the 51st best performance in the drafts.
Largest Spread
![[Image: image.png]](https://i.ibb.co/g3yzXfk/image.png)
Marcella Toriki is the most controversial pick in this draft with Fantasy GMs not quite knowing what to think... Toriki had a spread of 42 picks going as high as #6 and as low as the last pick in the draft (#48), Toriki will likely be picked in all 14 drafts once group 14 is completed.
Action Jackson was a close second with 41 picks separating his best and worst draft position, Jackson only found himself drafted in about 50% of the fantasy drafts.
The common thread seems to be the young players, Toriki is a S18 player with 359 TPE, and Jackson 1 year her senior at 387 TPE. We'll have to wait and see which GMs got it right.
Highest Average Pick Position
![[Image: image.png]](https://i.ibb.co/2nh5KwJ/image.png)
Torenson was the consensus #1 pick being picked in the top 3 in every draft and was the top pick 9 times out of 14, this lead to an average pick position of 1.5. Mendonca was a pretty definitive #2 with a 2.36 average, with Owens and Gump rounding out a pretty definitive top 4.
Maddox and Swift were the other players that separated themselves to create the 2nd tier of the first round picks.
The picks got pretty condensed at this point with no real standouts.
Times Picked
![[Image: image.png]](https://i.ibb.co/jZbZy8y/image.png)
15 players have been picked in all 14 pools, with a potential of 28 once the last 2 pools come to a close.
Top of the Heap
![[Image: image.png]](https://i.ibb.co/9tRpfQG/image.png)
Only 4 players received top pick honors, with Torenson sweeping up the honor 9 times. Mendonca, Owens, and Gump being the other 3. These 4 players were also the only ones to have top 3 status. 11 different players found themselves in the top 5 picks, with Reed, Maddox, and Swift now joining the top 4 players 4, 3, and 3 times respectively. Things opened up a lot more when looking at top 10 picks with 25 different players being drafted in the top 10 at least once. Finally 42 different players found themselves in the top 20 at least once.
Top Team Performances
![[Image: image.png]](https://i.ibb.co/54SBL0G/image.png)
Yellowknife were the stars of this years fantasy season with 6 players being drafted in 75% of the pools at an average draft position of 21.97.
Orange County has a league best 4 players with 100% ownership, and a 2nd best 22.62 average draft position.
5 different teams had at least 8 players drafted at least once, Yellowknife, Baltimore, NOLA, Arizona, and Colorado.
Chicago and San Jose players will have a lot to prove this year with only 2 players from each time being drafted in 50% of the pools.
Positional Rankings
Quarterback
![[Image: image.png]](https://i.ibb.co/dQGCcYH/image.png)
7 Different QBs were drafted in this years fantasy pools, top honors went to Armstrong with an Avg draft position of 11.93 almost 5 picks higher on average than the next best Bigsby, and 6 better than 3rd best Havran. Havran found himself in 3rd despite his league QB tpe high 1147 points.
QBs were not the taste of the draft with QBs only finding themselves taken in the first 10 picks 4 times.
Running Back
![[Image: image.png]](https://i.ibb.co/BfSt7Qn/image.png)
13 Running Backs were drafted this year as teams scrambled early to sweep up the starting running backs, RBs were drafted top 3 in every pool. Torenson, Mendonca, Owens, and Gump were the pick of the litter, with Reed and Ruff Ruff not far behind. Again top TPE earner Gump found himself outside of the top 3 and will likely have a chip on his shoulder as he attempts to out gain the younger players who were drafted before him.
Wide Receiver
![[Image: image.png]](https://i.ibb.co/0q6HjMx/image.png)
Errol Maddox and Nate Swift were consensus top 2 WR in this years edition of Fantasy with both being picked right around the 7 mark on average. It seems like fantasy owners liked the vets in this category opting for some high TPE players, all the top 3 were 1000+ TPE players, the other 1000+ TPE WR tommy Helanen inexplicably dropped to #11 with an average draft position of 20, and being left out of 4 drafts.
Tight End
![[Image: image.png]](https://i.ibb.co/fGKqDnP/image.png)
Johnny Blaze of Orange County was the pick of the litter here, the only TE currently drafted in all 14 pools, finding himself at a stellar 14.21 Average draft position a full 8 picks ahead of the next best Cameron Olsen.
Kicker
![[Image: image.png]](https://i.ibb.co/j68277k/image.png)
Kickers are often overlooked in Fantasy but Alex D separated himself from the pack this year at a 35th pick average best among kickers. The rest of the kicker class found themselves being picked in the last round of the draft typically with all their averages about 40, Baxter Frost lead the way for this group.
Defense
![[Image: image.png]](https://i.ibb.co/Sr6TPtp/image.png)
Yellowknife was the cream of the crop for Defenses this year and will have a lot to do to justify the 27th pick average they earned this year (Not off to a good start with a week 1 loss). Orange County was a clear #2, with Baltimore, Philly, New Orleans, and Colorado all bunched up around the 36th pick mark.
The S19 Class
![[Image: image.png]](https://i.ibb.co/zJxKDdq/image.png)
6 Players will be scoring for fantasy owners this year, Sweet James-Jones received a single selection at number 20, Quin Tyerucker received 6 picks with one as high as #8 (The highest pick for a S19 player this year), and McCormick was the most picked S19 player, picked 9 times (64%).
The S18 Class
![[Image: image.png]](https://i.ibb.co/z2Y8YRx/image.png)
Ruff Ruff was the pick of the S18 class at an average pick of #14, also the only S18 player to go in all 14 drafts. Mathias Hanyadi and Ruff Ruff shared the honor of the highest pick at #5, and Marcella Toriki got a few #6 picks.
